Personal DataVault
Keep all of your confidential information and passwords safely in one place, protected by the 256 bit Advanced Encryption Standard, and an innovative set of anti-tamper features.
Personal DataVault provides a secure place to keep all of your private information. A number of different types of information can be held:
- Usernames and passwords. The passwords can be displayed as text or as asterisk placeholders, and a convenient floating palette lets you copy the relevant information into the windows clipboard, so that it can pasted into the target fields when required. The clipboard is emptied when the palette is closed to avoid leaving sensitive information in the clipboard.
- Bookmarks, including web site addresses. email addresses, local files and folders. Similar to the “Favourites” option in your browser, but can be used for all of your private links, such as bank web sites or confidential documents. Unlike your browser, the links are safe from tampering by “malware” (Malicious Internet programs), and are also hidden from other users. Also includes a notepad for each link to remind you of what the link is used for.
- Freeform Data. Instead of scribbling information on pieces of paper, you can store any text into a notepad record which holds the information in date or description sequence, and is also searchable by keyword.
When not is use, the application is minimised to your System Tray and can be re-opened when required, optionally protected by entering an unlock code.
